嘉義市修緣育幼院的孩子省下零用錢，資助印度弱勢孩童，當「施比受更有福」的幸福之人。修緣育幼院院長李銘珠多年前穿著世界展望會「飢餓30」服裝，到印度當義診志工，當地有位爸爸認出展望會衣服的標誌，帶著5個孩子，當面向她致謝，原來他們是資助兒童計畫的受助者，雖然她並非資助人，但深受感動，銘記在心。

李銘珠將這分心意，傳遞給育幼院的孩子，她告訴孩子「雖然我們現在受別人的幫助，但還是可以將自己的愛心傳送到比我們更需要的地方」，鼓勵孩子盡一己之力，送愛心關懷國外的弱勢孩子。院內「天空之城」、「彩虹夢想家」兩個小家共18名院生，受到鼓舞，十分有心，每人省下零用錢，各捐出10元至100元不等的小錢，匯聚成每月一筆捐助金，1年多來資助印度2名弱勢貧童。印度的受助孩童寄來感謝信、生活照片，孩子們的愛心也發酵了，除了很高興知道自己幫助了其他孩子，也感受到「自己被需要」的幸福感，熱切地跟著帶家阿姨一起寫卡片、畫圖，要寄給海洋另一端的小朋友。李銘珠說，起初會定期叮嚀孩子們捐款，現在反而是孩子提醒她或帶家阿姨，要捐款了，讓她看到孩子的成長與發自內心的自信。(中國時報)，

    　據《洛杉磯時報》指出，鹽寮海或‧瘋市集創作嘉年華，快艇順利延攬前綠衫軍教頭瑞弗斯後，巨人封王遊行 百萬市民狂歡，終於打動主力好手保羅，東港區行政中心 整合露曙光，同意簽下5年1.073億美元的超級合約。
    　快艇不僅打算從塞爾提克挖來瑞弗斯，優異華裔生 「平權」下的犧牲者，還將矛頭指向賈奈特，不過這項交易案立即被聯盟總裁史騰否決，最終僅以3年2100萬美元挖來瑞弗斯。
