綽號「瘋子」的林姓通緝犯遇警方攔查，擔心被逮將入獄服刑，在大馬路上拔腿狂奔，情急還跳下深3公尺的公車專用地下道。員警向民眾借機車追趕，公車司機也見義勇為將林嫌逼到牆邊，在警民合作下將林嫌制伏逮捕，解送歸案。警方調查，31歲的林嫌，兩年前因結夥強盜案被判刑7年2月定讞，林認為自己又不是首謀，判刑太重心有不甘，不想入監服刑，從去年起冒用弟弟的個資開始跑路，被新北地檢署發布通緝。

保安大隊在基隆路、汀州路口執行路檢勤務時，發現坐在朋友機車後座的林嫌，故意將頭歪向一邊，不敢直視警方，行跡可疑，於是指示2人靠邊受檢。林嫌趁員警操作警用行動電腦之際，丟下安全帽，拔腿就朝羅斯福路方向奔逃。員警見狀，立即向民眾借用機車從後追捕，但考量林嫌傍晚跑在車水馬龍的大馬路上，恐發生意外且影響用路人安全，只好尾隨緊盯。林嫌跑了200多公尺後，一度以為擺脫追捕，回頭看到員警仍緊追不捨，情急下，竟學起動作電影中的橋段，朝3公尺高的公館公車專用地下道一躍而下，讓員警及民眾看到當場傻眼。林嫌雙腳因跳下地下道受傷，但仍頑強堅持，拼命揮手希望公車能停車，企圖搭車逃逸，結果反而一輛公車司機看到林嫌四處逃竄，機警開車將林逼到牆邊，讓趕到的員警順利將他逮捕。林嫌應訊時，謊報弟弟的身分企圖蒙混過關，但遭警方識破。林嫌表示，家中共有5兄弟，2人剛出獄、2人甫入獄，都是因為毒品案，自己也出入監所多次，不想再蹲苦窯才跑路，每次冒用弟弟的身分受檢，都能輕易過關，沒想到這次栽在警方手中。警方對林嫌規避查緝，不顧生命安全在車道上逃竄，只能苦笑他真如其綽號：「瘋子」。(中國時報)，
