　對全台瘋李安，美國CNN認為是台灣長期被邊緣化，才掀起全台凝聚力強的「李安現象」；弟弟李崗說，李安得獎後和他在電話聊了３、４個小時，「沒有台灣，不可能有這成功的電影」，這也是李安為何計較奧斯卡，因為《少年PI》台灣不是只輸出還有輸入，來自24個國家的菁英，讓全世界看到台灣的高度、熱情和能力。
　《亞果》內涵不及《PI》
　李崗昨在長榮大學演講，場面熱烈，他打趣說，由於李安不在台灣，只好找很像他的人來演講，兄弟倆最像的部分是聲音，連媽媽和另一半都認錯。他說，目前各縣市都希望透過電影行銷城市，《少年PI》到台灣享有很大自由，也獲得許多人幫助，這是好萊塢欠缺的，但電影是一個工業，一定要有環境，不是想拍什麼就能拍。
　他批評奧斯卡存在美國人的自我優越感，所以最佳影片給了《亞果出任務》的蠢片，標準美國英雄式電影，他認為，再過20年，大家仍會盛讚《少年PI》，《亞果出任務》誰想看？他認為，李安的最大成就是成功打破西方主流電影規則，最該得獨立精神獎。藉由電影征服全世界，因他深厚的文化內涵，從小接受家庭薰陶的人文素養，讓他拍出一部部動人的戲。「濃厚的中華文化涵養，也正是台灣人的優勢。」

　李媽媽昨感謝台中市幫助，因「開心」手術減少公開露面的胡志強說，李安前天從紐約打電話給他感謝台中市，「當初李安帶來７人勘景小組，很多國家爭取他去拍片，但李安心繫台灣、最愛台灣，剛好陳文茜捐出外婆紀念會捐出的100萬，給李安來台一個好的開始。」昨陳文茜也榮獲獎章，表示支持台灣電影工業，以後如有大導演來台拍片，願盡力捐款協助。，
