登革熱疫情搞得台南市民人心惶惶，台南市副市長顏純左前天一席「登革熱死亡案例占全國死亡人數8000分之1」，挨轟失言、招致民怨，翌日台南市長賴清德即踏進議會，顏純左失言風波，被外界視為促成賴進入議會的「推手」。台南市入夏本土登革熱迄27日累計2574例，27日新增193例，目前仍維持4人死亡。台北市昨也出現1例確診本土登革熱個案，一名家住中山區62歲男性，由於本月初和月中曾至台南、高雄拜訪朋友，被疑與台南有關。

登革熱疫情搞得台南市民人心惶惶，台南市副市長顏純左前天一席「登革熱死亡案例占全國死亡人數8000分之1」，挨轟失言、招致民怨，翌日台南市長賴清德即踏進議會，顏純左失言風波，被外界視為促成賴進入議會的「推手」。台南市入夏本土登革熱迄27日累計2574例，27日新增193例，目前仍維持4人死亡。台北市昨也出現1例確診本土登革熱個案，一名家住中山區62歲男性，由於本月初和月中曾至台南、高雄拜訪朋友，被疑與台南有關。

在防疫如作戰敏感時機，顏純左的數字論不只挨轟，也被指在疫情居高不下，身為副市長卻在「練肖話」，不少民眾痛斥「就算死1個人也是一條命」。顏純左昨表示，「8000分之1」是個統計數字，提供平均數據做說明，目的是希望市民對登革熱疫情有更充分認知，無其他意思。他說，登革熱疫情案例數占全台年度死亡人數比例關聯性不高談話，是站在醫生角度所說的，如造成誤解，他願公開致歉。顏純左強調，從不認為可輕忽登革熱，也對死亡4位長輩感到遺憾，「在這場登革熱疫情中，我深深感受老百姓的恐慌。」他說，從市長到副市長、衛生局長都走入疫情熱區、也真實公布疫情，「我絕對了解人民感受」。(中國時報)，
