宋楚瑜第三次選總統，卻把往自己身上塗爛泥巴。昨天亮相的大型宣傳看板乍看嚇人卻轟動萬教，自抹泥巴不怕醜的逆勢操作，傳達「政治老兵」的不畏試煉，也象徵「宋省長」求新求變、放下身段，直擊青年選票而來。老宋這次卯足勁就是為擺脫刻板印象。從泥巴開場影片和競選看板到「將心比心、一起打拼」宣口號，全來自年輕志工操刀。

「泥巴」宣傳意外引爆網友KUSO討論，原來，一直到拍攝當天，宋才知道要被丟泥巴，很是質疑驚嚇，脫口和年輕人開玩笑說，「How dare you are！要是在戒嚴時代，就把你們槍斃了；不過，我一當上總統，就會特赦你們。」後來當意會到此創意傳達的是體會、包容、尊重，便決定放下身段、接受改造。不按牌理出牌的，還不止這招。對於前來支持的來賓和媒體，親民黨一律送上白毛巾，上面寫著「一起找出路」，雖說象徵不分黨派，但收到毛巾，大夥還是直呼「太顛覆了」。據指出，這群負責創意的年輕志工多達3、40人，彼此在網路上認識，因認同宋的理念主動與橘營聯繫。其中還有不少人是在去年曾替柯文哲輔選的青年軍；宋的外甥張成先則負責經營臉書粉絲團，之後將以「人生三部曲」，分別在宋省長（過去）、宋楚瑜（現在）和宋北北（未來）粉絲專頁，訴求不同世代網路族群支持。宋楚瑜昨天也不忘感性，追憶亡妻陳萬水的離開，他曾意志消沉封閉自己，但低潮帶來反省，他將逆境中成長；一場成功創意的行銷，老宋似又復活了。(中國時報)，
