龍潭加拿大哥倫比亞中學創意發明社參加今年匹茲堡發明展，以貼近生活便利性的露營燈、行李箱及逃生指示燈，在替代能源、新奇品及教育類項目獲獎，展現年輕學子無窮想像力。學校創辦人駱展龍說，加拿大哥倫比亞中學學制比照加拿大在地中學，這次參加美國匹茲堡發明展的同學，都是校內創意發明社成員，在老師蔡彥欣博士的指導下，抱回3座獎項，對同學來說是一大肯定。

龍潭加拿大哥倫比亞中學創意發明社參加今年匹茲堡發明展，以貼近生活便利性的露營燈、行李箱及逃生指示燈，在替代能源、新奇品及教育類項目獲獎，展現年輕學子無窮想像力。學校創辦人駱展龍說，加拿大哥倫比亞中學學制比照加拿大在地中學，這次參加美國匹茲堡發明展的同學，都是校內創意發明社成員，在老師蔡彥欣博士的指導下，抱回3座獎項，對同學來說是一大肯定。

同學們研發的作品包括多功能使用的「四海遊龍露營燈」、具備防盜辨識系統及內建秤重裝置的「便利玩行李箱」，及結合偵測瓦斯、一氧化碳、二氧化碳效能的「優活逃生指示燈」，都是相當實用的日常生活好幫手。高一同學黃欣儀說，這次設計的「優活逃生指示燈」除有偵測有害氣體功能外，也透過警報器傳達火警訊息。此外燈箱內的救急逃生包也放置濃煙逃生袋、防火毯及LED手電筒，讓民眾面對災害發生時能有萬全準備。設計防盜「便利玩行李箱」的蔡若婷及馮靖雅說，作品最大特色就是藉由遙控及卡片辨識系統，達到防竊效果，此外皮箱若距離遙控器超過5公尺，也會自動發出警報，相信是民眾出國旅遊最安全的行李裝置。(中國時報)，
