藤枝國家森林遊樂區林道18K至19K處，因受蘇迪勒颱風侵襲中斷，林務局考量每逢颱風便道即被沖毀，決定暫不修復也不再造路或橋，遊樂區開園遙遙無期；桃源區公所考量居民須上山採果，希望施作農路讓居民通行。六龜至藤枝國家森林遊樂區20公里林道，先後經歷2004年72水災、2005年海棠颱風、2008年卡玫基颱風、2009年莫拉克颱風侵襲造成損壞，災後林務局將藤枝遊樂區封閉休園，編預算整建藤枝林道。

藤枝林道從大面積崩塌4Ｋ改道建高架橋、10Ｋ、12Ｋ2處改建橋樑及16Ｋ處路基及護坡工程施作，林務局2012年完工，原本規劃隔年遊樂區開園，未料當年又遇610水災造成藤枝林道18Ｋ嚴重走山，整個路基150公尺坍落到谷底。林務局屏東林區管處六龜工作站主任林弘基說，610水災後，藤枝林道即未修復，這次蘇迪勒颱風又造成藤枝林道18Ｋ至19Ｋ處中斷50公尺，考量每逢颱風林道即遭毀壞，且坍方處破碎頁岩層鬆軟，決定暫時不再施路或橋，藤枝森林園區也暫不開園。桃源區長謝英雄說，藤枝林道18Ｋ至19Ｋ處中斷不修復，將影響居民上山採果，因此將籌措經費向林務局申請開闢一條農路，讓部落居民能夠正常作息。(中國時報)，
